Habib Ghodbane started the match with the kick off. A collision led to Peacehaven City getting a freekick after 2 minutes play. Haykel Bargawi hit a great ball. Paulo Ghigani's late challenge caught a Peacehaven City's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Paulo Ghigani helped the player get up and apologised. Mohamed Ayed sent away a hard shot on goal in the 8th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Habib Ouertani kicked well hit freekick during the 9th minute of the match. Abderrahim Chaldun hit a great freekick 16 minutes into the match. After a defensive mix-up in Peacehaven City's zone, Samir Zahaf stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Habib Escheikh came out of the goal and Samir Zahaf tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Haykel Bargawi hit a great freekick 29 minutes into the match. After having played for 30 minutes, Samir Zahaf managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Sutton's supporters crossed their fingers, but Samir Zahaf was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 30 minutes into the game, Samir Zahaf was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Sutton's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Peacehaven City the free kick. A collision led to Sutton getting a freekick after 30 minutes play. Samir Zahaf hit a great ball. Samir Zahaf received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 33rd minute. Habib Escheikh tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 35 played minutes Peacehaven City got a freekick which was hit by Sabri Kaâbi. In the 44th match minute, Sutton was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Adel Hadji to maneuver through the defense. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Mohamed Ayed stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Habib Escheikh showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Habib Ghodbane, who was totally free with the ball in the 57th minute. 61 minutes into the game, Samir Zahaf cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-0. Habib Escheikh was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After having played for 66 minutes, Habib Ghodbane managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. After a defensive mix-up in Sutton's zone, Taieb Memmi stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Fathi Yahia came out of the goal and Taieb Memmi tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Habib Ghodbane received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 89th minute. Habib Escheikh tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Habib Escheikh showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Samir Zahaf in the 91st minute of the match. In the 92nd minute Habib Ghodbane shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Habib Escheikh saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Samir Zahaf in the 94th minute of play forced Peacehaven City's goalkeeper Habib Escheikh to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 95th minute the ball was on its way in behind Peacehaven City's goalkeeper Habib Escheikh, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. If Samir Zahaf had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 97th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. There was no doubt that Sutton were the better team. Sutton's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
