Broughton Astley AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Oussama Boumnijel was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Zied Escheikh breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Ahmed Mokadem sent away a hard shot on goal in the 13th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Chaouki Chiboub fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 19th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Riadh Chedli having to interfere. When Broughton Astley AFC's Ahmed Mokadem in the 29th minute got a chance for a shot 29th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. When the match had been going on for 41 minutes, Curdridge's Dhaker Miaâdi got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Riadh Chedli. Broughton Astley AFC's Riadh Chedli proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 45th minute of the match, managed to save Broughton Astley AFC from getting a goal against them. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.
Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Oussama Boumnijel to make the kick off. Ahmed Mokadem fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 53rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Zied Escheikh having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Curdridge's zone, Oussama Boumnijel stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Zied Escheikh came out of the goal and Oussama Boumnijel tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The crowd rose to their feet as Oussama Boumnijel kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Zied Escheikh. That made the score 1-1 in the 57 minute of play. Riadh Chedli showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Amine Thabet in the 61st minute of the match. The supporters of Broughton Astley AFC booed when Curdridge was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 62 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dhaker Miaâdi didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ahmed Mokadem received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 67th minute. Zied Escheikh tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When the match clock showed 73 minutes, the score became 1-2 when Oussama Boumnijel sped through Curdridge's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Zied Escheikh. Ahmed Mokadem fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 85th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Zied Escheikh having to interfere. Curdridge's Amine Thabet got a good chance for a goal in the 87th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Oussama Boumnijel struck a weak shot in the 89th minute. Zied Escheikh didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Broughton Astley AFC. Ahmed Mokadem was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 94th minute. Broughton Astley AFC's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance.
