Spectators: 6726 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1726, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Ali Loussayef started the match with the kick off. In the 4th minute, Zine Ziadi hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 8th minute of the game. One of Halesworth:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Penrith United:s goal. Mohamed Ali Cherif took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Fatah Dhaouadi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 16th minute Hosni Soussia shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mohamed Ali Cherif saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Abdelhamid Trabelsi came up free with the goalie in the 20th minute, the Halesworth fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Abdelhamid Trabelsi couldn't finish the play. Mohamed Ali Cherif showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Fatah Dhaouadi, who was totally free with the ball in the 22nd minute. Mehdi Ghannouchi could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 24th minute of the match, but Sadok Boumnijel made a huge save. Ali Loussayef fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 27th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sadok Boumnijel having to interfere. Ali Loussayef might have been able to make a better finish in the 29th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Sadok Boumnijel. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Ali Loussayef ran back to his position shaking his head. If Mehdi Ghannouchi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 29th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 33rd minute Fatah Dhaouadi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mohamed Ali Cherif saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 35 minutes into the match, Halesworth's goalkeeper Sadok Boumnijel had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Mehdi Ghannouchi. After 36 minutes, Slaheddine Farhat mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Halesworth and the Penrith United players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Halesworth's Slaheddine Farhat got a free kick in the 36th minute. With his leg Sadok Boumnijel managed to avoid a goal in the 38thth minute, when Penrith United's Mehdi Ghannouchi fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. After 40th play minutes Ali Loussayef shot 2-0, a short shot which went by Sadok Boumnijel and just under the crossbar into goal. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Hosni Soussia made a kick off. If Hosni Soussia had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 56th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Fatah Dhaouadi could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 62nd minute of the match, but Mohamed Ali Cherif made a huge save. Hosni Soussia sent away a hard shot on goal in the 64th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Mehdi Ghannouchi in the 75th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Sadok Boumnijel saved Halesworth from getting behind. In the 77th match minute, Penrith United was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Hédi Mor to maneuver through the defense. After 80 minutes, Ferid Nefzi mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Penrith United and the Halesworth players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 80th minute, one of Penrith United:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Penrith United. The goalkeeper, Mohamed Ali Cherif, was totally fooled by Halesworth's Ali Sellami, who 82 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. Mohamed Ali Cherif made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hosni Soussia in the 87th minute of play. Ali Loussayef received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 91st minute. Sadok Boumnijel tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The supporters of Penrith United booed when Halesworth was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 92 match minutes in a wonderful position. Haythem Mechergui didn't get a good kick on the ball. 95 minutes into the match, Penrith United's goalkeeper Mohamed Ali Cherif had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Fatah Dhaouadi. Ali Loussayef kicked well hit freekick during the 98th minute of the match. Halesworth's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
