Spectators: 6724 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1724, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when David Melki made the kick off which started today's match. Pierre Karray struck a weak shot in the 6th minute. Fathi Bejaoui didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Shenley. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling David Melki in the 9th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Imed Mourali prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 11th minute, Aymen Karel ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Fathi Bejaoui was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. Muhammad Marzouki could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 16th minute of the match, but Fathi Bejaoui made a huge save. Imed Mourali showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Slaheddine Naouali, who was totally free with the ball in the 19th minute. Pierre Karray fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 20th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fathi Bejaoui having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by David Melki in the 24th minute of play forced Shenley's goalkeeper Imed Mourali to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to Lowestoft getting a freekick after 28 minutes play. Noureddine Nafti hit a great ball. After a rather tough play, Lowestoft's Noureddine Nafti got a free kick in the 29th minute. Muhammad Marzouki's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 30thth minute, Fathi Bejaoui skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Pierre Karray recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 31st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Pierre Karray in the 38th minute of play forced Lowestoft's goalkeeper Fathi Bejaoui to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Shenley's zone, David Melki stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Imed Mourali came out of the goal and David Melki tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Slaheddine Naouali had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 48th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Pierre Karray made a kick off. 54 minutes into the match, Slaheddine Naouali had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Imed Mourali. Shenley's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Slaheddine Naouali was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. 60 minutes into the match, Shenley's goal looked a bit too open when David Melki came free, but Imed Mourali reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by David Melki in the 68th minute of play forced Shenley's goalkeeper Imed Mourali to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 71st minute, Pierre Karray managed to get in a good position for a shot. Shenley's supporters rose to their feet, but Pierre Karray was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Fathi Bejaoui breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Fathi Bejaoui took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Pierre Karray, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Fathi Bejaoui made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Muhammad Marzouki in the 91st minute of play. 97 minutes into the match, Shenley's goal looked a bit too open when David Melki came free, but Imed Mourali reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Shenley fans cheered their team off the field, for while Lowestoft had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
