Spectators: 6726 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1726, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Ahmed Marzouki kicked off to start the match. Imed Mourali made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ahmed Marzouki in the 8th minute of play. Hitchin United's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Muhammad Marzouki was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. Pierre Karray received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 25th minute. Mustafa Bouazizi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Muhammad Marzouki recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 27th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Mohamed Boularès got free with Imed Mourali in the 37th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After a rather tough play, Hitchin United's Hedi Jemmali got a free kick in the 38th minute. In the 42nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Hitchin United's goalkeeper Mustafa Bouazizi, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Mustafa Bouazizi didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Muhammad Marzouki went, in the 43rd minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Hamed Ayed during the 48th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Pierre Karray to make the kick off. Imed Mourali showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ahmed Marzouki in the 55th minute of the match. After 57 minutes, Ahmed Marzouki made it 1-2 with a short kick to the right side. Shenley's Imed Mourali tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. After a defensive mix-up in Hitchin United's zone, Pierre Karray stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Mustafa Bouazizi came out of the goal and Pierre Karray tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 70th minute, one of Shenley:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Shenley. Mustafa Bouazizi was out of position in the 78 minute of play, and Pierre Karray capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Pierre Karray really showed his touch with that goal: 1-3. In the 80th minute, Jaouhar Essediri hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 89th match minute, Shenley was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jaouhar Essediri to maneuver through the defense. When Ahmed Marzouki came up free with the goalie in the 93rd minute, the Hitchin United fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ahmed Marzouki couldn't finish the play. Mohamed Boularès sent away a hard shot on goal in the 95th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Shenley's Imed Mourali played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mohamed Boularès in the 97th minute of play. Hitchin United's Mustafa Bouazizi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Pierre Karray in the 102nd minute of play. Shenley's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
