With his leg Anouar Limam managed to avoid a goal in the 19thth minute, when Blackfen City's Salah Belhaj Dahmani fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Salah Belhaj Dahmani could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 21st minute of the match, but Anouar Limam made a huge save. In the 24th minute Sabri Bouazizi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Anouar Limam saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 26th minute Wissem Ben Kalaï shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Salah Belhaj Dali saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Sabri Bouazizi who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 31stth minute tested the skills of Anouar Limam when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Thatcham City's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Sabri Bouazizi was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-1. Blackfen City's Salah Belhaj Dali proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 69th minute of the match, managed to save Blackfen City from getting a goal against them. Wissem Ben Kalaï could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 72nd minute of the match, but Salah Belhaj Dali made a huge save. After 73 played minutes Thatcham City got a freekick which was hit by Hassib Gasmi. Anouar Limam stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Sabri Bouazizi's shot from short distance in the 74th minute. Férid Cherif's late challenge caught a Thatcham City's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Férid Cherif helped the player get up and apologised. In the 76th match minute, Blackfen City was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Férid Cherif to maneuver through the defense. Wissem Ben Kalaï received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 78th minute. Salah Belhaj Dali tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Anouar Limam showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Salah Belhaj Dahmani, who was totally free with the ball in the 80th minute. If Salah Belhaj Dahmani had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 83rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Salah Belhaj Dahmani's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Anouar Limam read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 87th minute of play. When Sabri Bouazizi came up free with the goalie in the 96th minute, the Blackfen City fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Sabri Bouazizi couldn't finish the play. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Blackfen City fans cheered their team off the field, for while Thatcham City had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
