Spectators: 6724 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1724, VIP seats: 0) Withernsea's Karim Bargougui started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. An unexpectedly hard shot by Karim Bargougui in the 3rd minute of play forced Danbury's goalkeeper Emir Haj Amri to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 7th match minute, Danbury was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ali Braham to maneuver through the defense. Amira Sellimi's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Houcine Ben Amor read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 12th minute of play. Amira Sellimi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 14th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Houcine Ben Amor having to interfere. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Karim Bargougui in the 19th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Emir Haj Amri prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Karim Bargougui sent away a hard shot on goal in the 21st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After having played for 23 minutes, Karim Bargougui managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Withernsea's supporters crossed their fingers, but Karim Bargougui was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After a rather tough play, Withernsea's Hamdi Memmi got a free kick in the 25th minute. Amira Sellimi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 29th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 31 played minutes Withernsea got a freekick which was hit by Anis Baya. Fadhel Benachour received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 36th minute. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

Danbury's Amira Sellimi got a good chance for a goal in the 53rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Hatem Dhahri had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 55th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Fadhel Benachour's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Emir Haj Amri read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 58th minute of play. A collision led to Danbury getting a freekick after 59 minutes play. Chaouki Jaidi hit a great ball. When Hatem Dhahri came up free with the goalie in the 61st minute, the Danbury fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Hatem Dhahri couldn't finish the play. In the 80th minute, Hatem Dhahri left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Danbury fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. Anis Baya kicked well hit freekick during the 87th minute of the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Amira Sellimi in the 90th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Houcine Ben Amor saved Withernsea from getting behind. In the 94th minute Jean Dali shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Houcine Ben Amor saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Emir Haj Amri made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Karim Bargougui in the 95th minute of play. Danbury's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
