Bechir Arfa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mehdi Yahia in the 45th minute of play. 48 minutes into the match, Broughton Astley AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Radhi Chiboub came free, but Mourad Boumnijel reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Abdallah Namouchi to make the kick off. In the 95th minute of the match, Moncef Amor tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Bechir Arfa saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Broughton Astley AFC walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
