Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Karim Trabelsi in the 11th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Anis Bouzaiene prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Falmouth AFC's Mohamed Jendoubi proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 16th minute of the match, managed to save Falmouth AFC from getting a goal against them. In the 23rd minute, Bechir Falhi fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. Anis Bouzaiene showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Karim Trabelsi, who was totally free with the ball in the 26th minute. When the match had gone on for 30 minutes, Hosni Jemmali put it in 1-0 from a short distance just to the right of Mohamed Jendoubi. If Bechir Falhi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 34th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Hedi Bensedrine scored 1-1 in the 37th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Anis Bouzaiene, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Férid Bhar hit a great freekick 40 minutes into the match. Mohamed Jendoubi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bechir Falhi, who was totally free with the ball in the 42nd minute. A collision led to Falmouth AFC getting a freekick after 43 minutes play. Férid Bhar hit a great ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Hosni Jemmali got free with Mohamed Jendoubi in the 47th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The wind increased when Bechir Falhi made the kick off in the second half. Hedi Bensedrine received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 60th minute. Anis Bouzaiene tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Hosni Jemmali sent away a hard shot on goal in the 66th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 68thth minute of the game Bechir Falhi who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Falmouth AFC's Mohamed Jendoubi was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Férid Bhar hit a great freekick 69 minutes into the match. Tarak Brahem took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 70th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Mohamed Jendoubi. Falmouth AFC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. After a rather tough play, Chester-le-Street's Mohamed Jemmali got a free kick in the 72nd minute. 74 minutes into the match, Hosni Jemmali had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Mohamed Jendoubi. Falmouth AFC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Hosni Jemmali was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-1. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Bechir Falhi in the 83rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Mohamed Jendoubi saved Falmouth AFC from getting behind. Hosni Jemmali sent away a hard shot on goal in the 87th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. For all the effort they put into the match, the Falmouth AFC players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Chester-le-Street.
