Spectators: 6741 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1741, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Jemeleddine Bejaoui kicked off to start the match. Hedi Bensedrine could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 9th minute of the match, but Najeh Badra made a huge save. Gedling's Najeh Badra played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Karim Trabelsi in the 13th minute of play. Mohamed Jendoubi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ajmi Bouazizi in the 18th minute of play. Mohamed Jendoubi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jemeleddine Bejaoui, who was totally free with the ball in the 25th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Falmouth AFC's zone, Jemeleddine Bejaoui stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Mohamed Jendoubi came out of the goal and Jemeleddine Bejaoui tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 30th minute, Karim Trabelsi hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Mahmoud Essebsi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 38th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Karim Trabelsi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 40th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Najeh Badra having to interfere. Hedi Bensedrine's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 42ndth minute, Najeh Badra skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. A collision led to Falmouth AFC getting a freekick after 45 minutes play. Mahmoud Essebsi hit a great ball. Hedi Bensedrine hit a great freekick 47 minutes into the match. After a rather tough play, Falmouth AFC's Ali Korbi got a free kick in the 48th minute. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Mohamed Jendoubi took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mourad Boumnijel, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Hedi Bensedrine received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 59th minute. Najeh Badra tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Adel Ouertani hit a great freekick 67 minutes into the match. Aymen Ghannem was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 68th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. When Hedi Bensedrine came up free with the goalie in the 71st minute, the Falmouth AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Hedi Bensedrine couldn't finish the play. Karim Trabelsi's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Najeh Badra read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 74th minute of play. After 79 played minutes Falmouth AFC got a freekick which was hit by Aymen Ghannem. Mohamed Jendoubi made a fantastic save in the 81st minute, when Ajmi Bouazizi sent off a good shot on target. In the 95th match minute, Falmouth AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Muhammad Braham to maneuver through the defense. The Gedling supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Gedling would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
