The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. If Karim Baly had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 3rd minute. Moustafa Cherni hit a great freekick 9 minutes into the match. A collision led to Enfield getting a freekick after 12 minutes play. Abderrahman Sioud hit a great ball. In the 13th minute, Karim Baly made a precise shot to the right of Shuaibu Cherif. Enfield's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. In the 19th minute of the match Selim Jaziri sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Shuaibu Cherif skillfully saved the ball. 19 minutes into the game, Issam Zaairi was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Enfield's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Richmond City the free kick. In the 20th minute Ali Saada shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Shuaibu Cherif saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Shuaibu Cherif made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ali Saada in the 25th minute of play. 29 minutes into the game, one of Enfield:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Nizar Jaballah shot the penalty kick by force right in the crossbar. No goal. Hamdi Ben Doulet could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 36th minute of the match, but Riadh Hammami made a huge save. The audience thought a goal was coming when Hamdi Ben Doulet got free with Riadh Hammami in the 37th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Riadh Hammami showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Adel Sellami, who was totally free with the ball in the 38th minute. In the 40th minute, Adel Sellami made a precise shot to the right of Riadh Hammami. Richmond City's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. After some fancy dribbling in the 50th minute, Hamdi Ben Doulet managed to get in a good position for a shot. Enfield's supporters rose to their feet, but Hamdi Ben Doulet was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Shuaibu Cherif. 62 minutes had been played when some careless play by Richmond City's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Chaker Clayton was slow to take the kick. During this time Enfield's players had a chance to rest. In the 72nd minute, Adel Sellami hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A hard shot by Nizar Jaballah from long distance, 73 minutes into the match, got Shuaibu Cherif's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. Hamdi Ben Doulet might have been able to make a better finish in the 77th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Riadh Hammami. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Hamdi Ben Doulet ran back to his position shaking his head. Hamdi Ben Doulet's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Riadh Hammami read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 78th minute of play. When Moustafa Cherni came up free with the goalie in the 83rd minute, the Enfield fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Moustafa Cherni couldn't finish the play. Richmond City's Riadh Hammami played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hamdi Ben Doulet in the 85th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Richmond City's Nizar Jaballah got a free kick in the 86th minute. Hamdi Ben Doulet sent away a hard shot on goal in the 89th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Moustafa Cherni might have been able to make a better finish in the 92nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Riadh Hammami. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Moustafa Cherni ran back to his position shaking his head. Shuaibu Cherif made an important save on a dangerous shot by Karim Baly in the 96th minute. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Richmond City had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
