The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. The supporters of Chuffing Hell booed when Latchingdon FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 2 match minutes in a wonderful position. Taoufik Slimane didn't get a good kick on the ball. Chuffing Hell's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Latchingdon FC the free kick. After 17 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Chuffing Hell! After a rather tough play, Chuffing Hell's Zied Aziza got a free kick in the 22nd minute. After a defensive mix-up in Chuffing Hell's zone, Ahmed Bouazizi stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ahmed Chaldun came out of the goal and Ahmed Bouazizi tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Ahmed Bouazizi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 27th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ahmed Chaldun took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ahmed Bouazizi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Taoufik Slimane charged in rather forcefully in the 31st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Taoufik Slimane the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 34th minute Ahmed Bouazizi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ahmed Chaldun saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Adel Belhouane struck a weak shot in the 35th minute. Ahmed Chaldun didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Latchingdon FC. 38 minutes into the match, Ahmed Bouazizi had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Ahmed Chaldun. Chuffing Hell's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Ahmed Bouazizi was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-2. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Ahmed Bouazizi stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Mehdi Essediri made in the 51st minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Achref Memmi however managed to control. 53 minutes into the match, Latchingdon FC's goal looked a bit too open when Achref Memmi came free, but Abderrahman Karoui reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 54th minute, Taoufik Slimane hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Abderrahman Karoui showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Chaker Bourguiba in the 58th minute of the match. Abderrahman Karoui showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Fakhreddine Mkacher, who was totally free with the ball in the 66th minute. After 68 minutes, Zoubaier Slimane mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Latchingdon FC and the Chuffing Hell players grew even worse after the yellow card. Latchingdon FC's Abderrahman Karoui played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Zied Aziza in the 73rd minute of play. After having played for 79 minutes, Hassene Trabelsi managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Latchingdon FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Hassene Trabelsi was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Latchingdon FC were furious when Taieb Ben Amor was red carded, 89 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. Taieb Ben Amor kicked well hit freekick during the 90th minute of the match. Mehdi Essediri missed a clear chance of a goal when in the 91 minute of the game fired away a shot, but unfortunally the ball went out to the Abderrahman Karoui right hand side. Abderrahman Karoui made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Achref Memmi in the 96th minute of play. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Latchingdon FC walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
