Habib Sguir showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sami Younes in the 5th minute of the match. After having played for 6 minutes, Sami Younes managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Frome FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Sami Younes was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When Hamza Sfar fell near the penalty area in the 7th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Rainhill's protests and gave Hamza Sfar a yellow card for diving instead. Hamza Sfar kicked well hit freekick during the 7th minute of the match. Hamed Badra was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 8th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. In the 9th minute, Hamza Sfar hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ghazi Marzouki in the 12th minute of play forced Rainhill's goalkeeper Habib Sguir to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Sami Younes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 18th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 20 minutes in the game, Habib Ben Zid fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Maher Ammar having to interfere. Habib Boumnijel might have been able to make a better finish in the 22nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Maher Ammar. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Habib Boumnijel ran back to his position shaking his head. Rainhill's Habib Sguir played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sami Younes in the 23rd minute of play. 26 minutes into the game, Karim Sebki was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Frome FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Rainhill the free kick. Karim Sebki kicked well hit freekick during the 26th minute of the match. When Habib Ben Zid came up free with the goalie in the 27th minute, the Rainhill fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Habib Ben Zid couldn't finish the play. Habib Ben Zid sent away a hard shot on goal in the 29th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Maher Ammar made an important save on a dangerous shot by Habib Boumnijel in the 30th minute. Habib Sguir showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sami Younes, who was totally free with the ball in the 33rd minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Habib Ben Zid in the 36th minute of play forced Frome FC's goalkeeper Maher Ammar to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Rainhill's Habib Ben Zid got a good chance for a goal in the 38th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Habib Ben Zid received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 42nd minute. Maher Ammar tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Maher Ammar made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Habib Ben Zid in the 45th minute of play. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

Sami Younes could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 53rd minute of the match, but Habib Sguir made a huge save. Sami Youness short, quick shot in the 58thth minute got Habib Sguir to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Sami Younes blasted a shot towards the goal in the 62nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Habib Sguir having to make a save. In the 65th minute, Chaouki Mor fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Habib Sguir, passed just outside the right post. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ghazi Marzouki in the 69th minute of play forced Rainhill's goalkeeper Habib Sguir to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Habib Boumnijel fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 73rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Maher Ammar having to interfere. In the 78th minute, Habib Ben Zid ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Maher Ammar was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Chaouki Mor in the 81st minute of play forced Rainhill's goalkeeper Habib Sguir to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
