With a couple of smart ball manuevers Hedi El Hadj Kacem in the 24th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Tarek Nafti saved Haslemere from getting behind. In the 33rd minute Raouf Trabelsi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bechir Dali saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Zied Mourali kicked well hit freekick during the 46th minute of the match. Raouf Trabelsi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 48th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bechir Dali having to interfere. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Raouf Trabelsi to make the kick off. Hamed Hakimi might have been able to make a better finish in the 55th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Bechir Dali. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Hamed Hakimi ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 58th minute, Taoufik Ayed hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Tarek Nafti acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 71st minute, took the ball on the long shot from Anis Ghannem. After some fancy dribbling in the 74th minute, Muhammad Chedli managed to get in a good position for a shot. Clacton United's supporters rose to their feet, but Muhammad Chedli was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Tarek Nafti breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Tarek Nafti made a fantastic save in the 76th minute, when Hedi El Hadj Kacem sent off a good shot on target. Clacton United's Muhammad Chedli got a good chance for a goal in the 82nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 83 played minutes Haslemere got a freekick which was hit by Ayèche Ben Bouali. In the 92nd minute Muhammad Chedli shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tarek Nafti saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Raouf Trabelsi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 97th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
