Clacton United's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Brinklow United the free kick. Mehdi Ben Yahyaoui hit a great freekick 4 minutes into the match. If Muhammad Chedli had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 6th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 9th minute of the match Rachid Haddad shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Driss Kasraoui showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. If Chaouki Ben Dermech had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 12th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Haythem Jemmali recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 18th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Bechir Dali showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Chaouki Ben Dermech in the 21st minute of the match. After 23 minutes, Muhammad Chedli made it 0-1 with a short kick to the right side. Brinklow United's Driss Kasraoui tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. After 28 played minutes Clacton United got a freekick which was hit by Wissem Boukorâa. Clacton United's Bechir Dali proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 29th minute of the match, managed to save Clacton United from getting a goal against them. Haythem Jemmalis short, quick shot in the 30thth minute got Bechir Dali to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Anis Ghannem hit a great freekick 34 minutes into the match. When Haythem Jemmali came up free with the goalie in the 35th minute, the Brinklow United fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Haythem Jemmali couldn't finish the play. Wissem Boukorâa kicked well hit freekick during the 36th minute of the match. Haythem Jemmali could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 38th minute of the match, but Bechir Dali made a huge save. When the match had gone on for 41 minutes, Chaouki Ben Dermech took a quick shot and it went in 1-1 without a chance for Bechir Dali to make any attempt to save it. In the 45th minute Hedi El Hadj Kacem shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Driss Kasraoui saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Muhammad Chedli made a kick off. Clacton United's supporters crossed their fingers, but Muhammad Chedli was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 64 minutes into the game, one of Brinklow United:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. A collision led to Clacton United getting a freekick after 68 minutes play. Hedi El Hadj Kacem hit a great ball. Rachid Haddad hit a great freekick 69 minutes into the match. After recieving a nice pass, Brinklow United's Adel Ghodhbane tried to score from far away in the 71st minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Haythem Jemmali received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 76th minute. Bechir Dali tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Brinklow United's Chaouki Ben Dermech got a good chance for a goal in the 77th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 82 played minutes Brinklow United got a freekick which was hit by Sabri Trabelsi. When Hedi El Hadj Kacem came up free with the goalie in the 85th minute, the Clacton United fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Hedi El Hadj Kacem couldn't finish the play. In the 86th match minute, Clacton United was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Taoufik Ayed to maneuver through the defense. 87 minutes into the match, Chaouki Ben Dermech had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Bechir Dali. Clacton United's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Chaouki Ben Dermech was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-1. In the 92nd minute, Muhammad Chedli got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Brinklow United's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
