Raouf Trabelsi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 12th minute. Dali El Ouaer tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Hamed Hakimi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 24th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, Haslemere's Mohamed Trabelsi got a free kick in the 34th minute. If Bechir Kalaï had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 36th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Forest Hill United's Riadh Belgacem got a good chance for a goal in the 43rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar.
Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Raouf Trabelsi to make the kick off. A collision led to Forest Hill United getting a freekick after 57 minutes play. Riadh Belgacem hit a great ball. Riadh Belgacem was extremely unlucky when he, in the 60th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. In the 62nd match minute, Haslemere was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tarak Nefzi to maneuver through the defense. After 66 minutes of play, Forest Hill United's Bechir Kalaï made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Tarek Nafti was left in no man's land by his defense there! 74 minutes into the match, Forest Hill United's goal looked a bit too open when Hamed Hakimi came free, but Dali El Ouaer reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Dali El Ouaer showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Hamed Hakimi , who was totally free with the ball in the 79th minute. 80 minutes into the match, Haslemere's Hamed Hakimi sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Dali El Ouaer narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 83rd minute Raouf Trabelsi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dali El Ouaer saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Riadh Belgacem in the 86thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Tarek Nafti, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. After a defensive mix-up in Haslemere's zone, Bechir Kalaï stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Tarek Nafti came out of the goal and Bechir Kalaï tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After a rather tough play, Haslemere's Mohamed Trabelsi got a free kick in the 88th minute. When Bechir Kalaï came up free with the goalie in the 92nd minute, the Forest Hill United fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Bechir Kalaï couldn't finish the play.
