The supporters of Clacton United booed when Clitheroe City was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 13 match minutes in a wonderful position. Akram Yahia didn't get a good kick on the ball. Hamdi al-Amin could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 16th minute of the match, but Bechir Dali made a huge save. Majed Ben Gharbi showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Muhammad Chedli in the 19th minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 22nd minute, Hedi El Hadj Kacem managed to get in a good position for a shot. Clacton United's supporters rose to their feet, but Hedi El Hadj Kacem was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Majed Ben Gharbi breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Hedi El Hadj Kacem sent away a hard shot on goal in the 31st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a rather tough play, Clacton United's Rachid Haddad got a free kick in the 36th minute.

Majed Ben Gharbi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Muhammad Chedli in the 76th minute of play. In the 77th minute, Taoufik Ayed hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 78th minute, Hamdi al-Amin got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After 80 played minutes Clacton United got a freekick which was hit by Wissem Boukorâa. Hedi El Hadj Kacem received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 84th minute. Majed Ben Gharbi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The audience thought a goal was coming when Hedi El Hadj Kacem got free with Majed Ben Gharbi in the 86th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Hamdi al-Amin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 93rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Clacton United had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
