Spectators: 6726 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1726, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Hedi Jaziri took the kick off in the first half of the match. In the 4th minute, Hedi Jaziri ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Bechir Essediri was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. Dedham's Bechir Essediri played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hedi Jaziri in the 7th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 8th minute, Oussama Bourguiba managed to get in a good position for a shot. Royston AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Oussama Bourguiba was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Bechir Essediri breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Royston AFC's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Karim Jelassi 11 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 1-1. Najeh Srarfi lost his temper 23 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. In the 23rd minute, one of Dedham:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Dedham. Mohamed Fitouri was in a good position and managed to take a shot, but he missed just to the outside of the post. Hedi Jaziri received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 30th minute. Bechir Essediri tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Kameleddine Melliti received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 33rd minute. Hedi Jemmali tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Hamza Bey recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 36th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Hedi Jemmali made a fantastic save in the 37th minute, when Kameleddine Melliti sent off a good shot on target. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Kameleddine Melliti stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Sabri al-Husain struck a weak shot in the 51st minute. Hedi Jemmali didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Dedham. Hedi Jaziri sent away a hard shot on goal in the 56th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Aymen Karoui could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 60th minute of the match, but Bechir Essediri made a huge save. After having played for 61 minutes, Sabri al-Husain managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Dedham's supporters crossed their fingers, but Sabri al-Husain was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Kameleddine Melliti had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 62nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Patrick Jaidi charged in rather forcefully in the 74th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Patrick Jaidi the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 86th minute, Oussama Bourguiba got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After having played for 94 minutes, Hedi Jaziri managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Royston AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Hedi Jaziri was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Dedham succeeded in salvaging a draw, even though Royston AFC had controlled the match.
