Barhill's supporters crossed their fingers, but Brahim Beya was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. A collision led to Barhill getting a freekick after 17 minutes play. Mehdi Jaidi hit a great ball. If Dali Hadji had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 23rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 26 played minutes Barhill got a freekick which was hit by Laamari Achab. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Ali Boulaabi in the 30th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Bechir Zouaoui prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When Tarak Ghodhbane came up free with the goalie in the 33rd minute, the Barhill fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Tarak Ghodhbane couldn't finish the play. Muhammad Jaziri came out of the goal in the 36th minute to try and stop a shot by Barhill's Brahim Beya. But to his dismay, Brahim Beya quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Ali Boulaabi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 41st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bechir Zouaoui having to interfere. Barhill's defense didn't have a chance, in the 46th minute, when Ali Boulaabi scored to the left of an out of position Bechir Zouaoui, making the score, 1-1. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

Dali Hadji sent away a hard shot on goal in the 55th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Jamel Hedi Jedidi fell near the penalty area in the 56th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Barhill's protests and gave Jamel Hedi Jedidi a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Market Harborough booed when Barhill was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 57 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jamel Hedi Jedidi didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 59th minute, Jamel Hedi Jedidi hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Hamadi Dali hit a great freekick 60 minutes into the match. If Jamel Hedi Jedidi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 68th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Tarak Ghodhbane struck a weak shot in the 76th minute. Muhammad Jaziri didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Barhill. 79 minutes into the game, Ali Boulaabi cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-1. Bechir Zouaoui was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 87th minute the ball was on its way in behind Market Harborough's goalkeeper Muhammad Jaziri, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After a defensive mix-up in Barhill's zone, Dali Hadji stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Bechir Zouaoui came out of the goal and Dali Hadji tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 91 minutes into the match, Barhill's goal looked a bit too open when Dali Hadji came free, but Bechir Zouaoui reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of Market Harborough booed when Barhill was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 91 match minutes in a wonderful position. Laamari Achab didn't get a good kick on the ball. Market Harborough's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
