The audience thought a goal was coming when Brahim Beya got free with Mohamed Azzaro in the 38th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. When Pierre Essediri came up free with the goalie in the 45th minute, the Dragon Sport United fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Pierre Essediri couldn't finish the play. Maher Abdallah succeeded in the game's 46th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 0-2. The Barhill players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Dragon Sport United were winning 0-2.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Maher Abdallah to strike the kick off in the second half. Maher Abdallah could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 53rd minute of the match, but Bechir Zouaoui made a huge save. The crowd rose to their feet as Dragon Sport United's Pierre Essediri slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Bechir Zouaoui. That made the score 0-3 after 56 minutes of play. Mohamed Azzaro made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-4. Barhill's Bechir Zouaoui played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Pierre Essediri in the 91st minute of play. If Tarak Ghodhbane had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 96th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Dragon Sport United played a much better game than Barhill and deserved their victory. The Barhill players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
