The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Khaled Korbi recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 7th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Karim Ghodhbane had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 9th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Houcine M'henni stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Karim Ghodhbane's shot from short distance in the 12th minute. Karim Sallemi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 14th minute. Férid Ben Youssef tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Karim Ghodhbane fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 21st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Houcine M'henni having to interfere. Hucknall's supporters crossed their fingers, but Karim Sallemi was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 46th minute, Walid Ben Doulet reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Férid Ben Youssef. The goal made the score 1-0.

Férid Ben Youssef took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Walid Ben Doulet, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some fancy dribbling in the 58th minute, Karim Sallemi managed to get in a good position for a shot. Hucknall's supporters rose to their feet, but Karim Sallemi was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Férid Ben Youssef breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Hucknall's Houcine M'henni played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Karim Ghodhbane in the 72nd minute of play. In the 74th minute, Karim Sallemi made a precise shot to the right of Férid Ben Youssef. Hilperton AFC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-0. Walid Ben Doulet scored 3-0 in the 79th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Férid Ben Youssef, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Houcine M'henni made an important save on a dangerous shot by Khaled Korbi in the 86th minute. Khaled Korbi's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Houcine M'henni firmly grabbed it by the left post. Houcine M'henni made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Karim Ghodhbane in the 92nd minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Karim Ghodhbane in the 93rd minute of play forced Hucknall's goalkeeper Houcine M'henni to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Karim Sallemi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 95th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Férid Ben Youssef having to interfere. Karim Karoui's late challenge caught a Hucknall's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Karim Karoui helped the player get up and apologised. In the 97th match minute, Hilperton AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Karim Karoui to maneuver through the defense. In the 98th minute, Driss Braham sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Hilperton AFC's Férid Ben Youssef didn't even have to move. Hucknall's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
