Thanks to some nice moves Taoufik Ben Yahia could shoot a difficult shot in the 4th minute, which Issam Salem however easily saved by the left post. An unexpectedly hard shot by Hedi Chipo in the 14th minute of play forced Woodhall Spa's goalkeeper Zine Bouzayane to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Issam Salem showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lotfi Braham in the 20th minute of the match. The supporters of Woodhall Spa booed when Newthorpe FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 21 match minutes in a wonderful position. Emir Trabelsi didn't get a good kick on the ball. Issam Salem made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lotfi Braham in the 22nd minute of play. A collision led to Newthorpe FC getting a freekick after 23 minutes play. Hamdi Essafi hit a great ball. Newthorpe FC's Issam Salem proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 24th minute of the match, managed to save Newthorpe FC from getting a goal against them. José Limam struck a weak shot in the 29th minute. Zine Bouzayane didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Newthorpe FC. Zine Bouzayane showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Anouar Achab in the 38th minute of the match. Zine Bouzayane made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Anouar Achab in the 40th minute of play. Issam Salem made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lotfi Braham in the 44th minute of play. Lotfi Braham took the ball and in the 44 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Issam Salem. Issam Salem dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Lotfi Braham was the one to do the kick off. In the 52nd minute, José Limam got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Issam Salem made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Taoufik Ben Yahia in the 54th minute of play. Taoufik Ben Yahia sent away a hard shot on goal in the 57th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Woodhall Spa's Taoufik Ben Yahia got a good chance for a goal in the 61st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Brahim Limam hit a great freekick 65 minutes into the match. In the 66th minute, Woodhall Spa's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Anouar Achab fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. After some fancy dribbling in the 75th minute, José Limam managed to get in a good position for a shot. Newthorpe FC's supporters rose to their feet, but José Limam was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Zine Bouzayane breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After a rather tough play, Woodhall Spa's Hamdi Yahia got a free kick in the 75th minute. Zine Bouzayane was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but José Limam showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-2 in the 78 minute of play. Anouar Achab sent away a hard shot on goal in the 82nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Hamdi Essafi kicked well hit freekick during the 88th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Woodhall Spa's zone, Anouar Achab stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Zine Bouzayane came out of the goal and Anouar Achab tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play.
