An unexpectedly hard shot by Hassen Mustapha in the 16th minute of play forced Poole FC's goalkeeper Heithem M'henni to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Hassen Mustapha had several of the Poole FC's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 20 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 2-0 score and a disappointed Heithem M'henni as he didn't even see the shot coming. In the 23rd minute Hassen Mustapha shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Heithem M'henni saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With his leg Heithem M'henni managed to avoid a goal in the 27thth minute, when Ashwell's Haroune Namouchi fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Ashwell's Haroune Namouchi got a good chance for a goal in the 28th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Oussama Ben Nacef charged in rather forcefully in the 46th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Oussama Ben Nacef the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Abderrahman Maatouk was the one to do the kick off. 54 minutes into the match, Haroune Namouchi notched a goal, 3-0, to the right of Poole FC's Heithem M'henni. Heithem M'henni was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Haroune Namouchi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 65th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Heithem M'henni having to interfere. After having played for 73 minutes, Abderrahman Maatouk managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Poole FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Abderrahman Maatouk was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 77 minutes of play Poole FC's Oussama Ben Nacef was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. After 78 played minutes Poole FC got a freekick which was hit by Oussama Ben Nacef. The supporters of Poole FC booed when Ashwell was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 80 match minutes in a wonderful position. Fethi Ben Amor didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ghazi Badra sent away a hard shot on goal in the 85th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Habib Slim sent away a hard shot on goal in the 88th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. For all the effort they put into the match, the Poole FC players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Ashwell.
