Spitalfields and Shoreditch's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Hassan BenAmor was a little too slow when Hedi Rzouga got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 21st minute. The score was now 2-0. The supporters of Newnham booed when Spitalfields and Shoreditch was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 28 match minutes in a wonderful position. Karim Clayton didn't get a good kick on the ball. Radhi Karray showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Karim Yahia, who was totally free with the ball in the 35th minute. Hedi Rzouga might have been able to make a better finish in the 46th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Hassan BenAmor. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Hedi Rzouga ran back to his position shaking his head. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-1.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Karim Yahia to make the kick off. The audience thought a goal was coming when Riadh Khalifa got free with Radhi Karray in the 57th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Hedi Rzouga fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 58th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hassan BenAmor having to interfere. Haythem Achour kicked well hit freekick during the 61st minute of the match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Karim Clayton during the 67th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Spitalfields and Shoreditch's Karim Clayton got a free kick in the 67th minute. If Slaheddine Sellimi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 70th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Radhi Karray made an important save on a dangerous shot by Riadh Khalifa in the 74th minute. In the 77th minute, Riadh Khalifa got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Riadh Khalifa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 84th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Spitalfields and Shoreditch's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
