The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 21 minutes into the game, Bernard Ammar cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Bechir Khemili was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Bernard Ammar fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 35th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bechir Khemili having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rashid Trabelsi in the 39th minute of play forced Nailsworth's goalkeeper Bechir Khemili to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ahmed Essediri sent away a hard shot on goal in the 42nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Rashid Trabelsi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 47th minute. Bechir Khemili tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Bernard Ammar made a kick off. Rashid Trabelsi's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Bechir Khemili read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 80th minute of play. Oussama Karray stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Hamed Braham's shot from short distance in the 82nd minute. In the 85th minute, Rashid Trabelsi fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. Bechir Khemili was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Bernard Ammar showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-3 in the 88 minute of play. A collision led to Bembridge getting a freekick after 92 minutes play. Anis Gtari hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bernard Ammar in the 96th minute of play forced Nailsworth's goalkeeper Bechir Khemili to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The Bembridge supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Bembridge would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
