With a little luck, Rochester's Youssef Ben Souissi got control of the ball when Jean El Ouaer tried to sneak it across the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sabri Younes in the 6th minute of play forced Harlow's goalkeeper Mohamed Kallel to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Jean El Ouaer got free with Youssef Ben Souissi in the 8th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sabri Younes in the 9th minute of play forced Harlow's goalkeeper Mohamed Kallel to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 11th minute, Hichem Mestiri got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Mohamed Kallel took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Hamdi Limam, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Hamdi Limam in the 20th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Mohamed Kallel prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Sabri Younes scored 0-1 in the 22nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Mohamed Kallel, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The supporters of Rochester booed when Harlow was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 29 match minutes in a wonderful position. Muhammad Radhouani didn't get a good kick on the ball. After having played for 30 minutes, Hamdi Limam managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Rochester's supporters crossed their fingers, but Hamdi Limam was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 36 minutes into the game, Muhammad Radhouani was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Harlow's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Rochester the free kick. 37 minutes into the match, Rochester's Sabri Mechergui broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. If Hamdi Limam had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 39th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 40 minutes of play Harlow's Muhammad Radhouani was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. In the 41st match minute, Harlow was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Muhammad Radhouani to maneuver through the defense. 42 minutes into the match, Rochester's Sabri Mechergui broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. When Mokhtar Melliti fell near the penalty area in the 47th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Harlow's protests and gave Mokhtar Melliti a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Harlow's Mokhtar Melliti got a free kick in the 47th minute. After the first half Rochester were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

After 55 played minutes Rochester got a freekick which was hit by Jawhar Slimane. When Harlow's Jean El Ouaer in the 57th minute got a chance for a shot 57th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Rochester's goalie prevented a goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Jean El Ouaer in the 60th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Youssef Ben Souissi saved Rochester from getting behind. Jean El Ouaer fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 63rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Youssef Ben Souissi having to interfere. Hamdi Limam blasted a shot towards the goal in the 72nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Mohamed Kallel having to make a save. After 73 minutes, Hichem Mestiri mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Harlow and the Rochester players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Rochester getting a freekick after 75 minutes play. Houcine Rehouma hit a great ball. Harlow's Mohamed Kallel played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sabri Younes in the 77th minute of play. Hamdi Limam blasted a shot towards the goal in the 79th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Mohamed Kallel having to make a save. In the 89thth minute of the game Sabri Younes who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Harlow's Mohamed Kallel was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Sabri Younes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 92nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mohamed Kallel having to interfere. In the 94th minute the ball was on its way in behind Harlow's goalkeeper Mohamed Kallel, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Rochester's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
