Seating: 1729, VIP seats: 0) Wanlip's Haroune Bargawi started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Kamel Sélim Haj Ali sent away a hard shot on goal in the 6th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. 12 minutes into the game, Wanlip's Hedi M'henni nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Ajmi Nouira made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. Kamel Sélim Haj Ali received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 16th minute. Sami Amri tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Habib Baly could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 18th minute of the match, but Sami Amri made a huge save. Sami Amri took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Kamel Sélim Haj Ali, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ajmi Nouira stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Haroune Bargawi's shot from short distance in the 26th minute. The supporters of Wanlip booed when Carlton in Lindrick was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 27 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ahmed Djait didn't get a good kick on the ball. Sami Amri made a fantastic save in the 29th minute, when Habib Baly sent off a good shot on target. 33 minutes into the match, Carlton in Lindrick's goal looked a bit too open when Hedi M'henni came free, but Ajmi Nouira reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Alaeddine Khalfaoui fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 47th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ajmi Nouira having to interfere. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Kamel Sélim Haj Ali made a kick off. After some fancy dribbling in the 58th minute, Hedi M'henni managed to get in a good position for a shot. Wanlip's supporters rose to their feet, but Hedi M'henni was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ajmi Nouira breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 61st minute, Hedi M'henni got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After a rather tough play, Wanlip's Radhi Limam got a free kick in the 66th minute. After having played for 79 minutes, Habib Baly managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Carlton in Lindrick's supporters crossed their fingers, but Habib Baly was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Kaies Chiba kicked well hit freekick during the 80th minute of the match. Habib Baly received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 81st minute. Sami Amri tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Ahmed Djait during the 84th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 84th match minute, Carlton in Lindrick was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ahmed Djait to maneuver through the defense. In the 89th minute Haroune Bargawi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ajmi Nouira saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 92ndth minute of the game Habib Baly who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Wanlip's Sami Amri was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. When Kamel Sélim Haj Ali came up free with the goalie in the 93rd minute, the Carlton in Lindrick fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Kamel Sélim Haj Ali couldn't finish the play. Neither set of supporters seemed pleased with the draw, but both teams had played equally well today.
