If Abdallah Ali Riza had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 3rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Abdallah Ali Riza sent away a hard shot on goal in the 6th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After some careless play in the CLUB AFRICAIN FC defense, Mongi Chikhaoui kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Ali Zaghouani. The CLUB AFRICAIN FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Ali Zaghouani should have stopped the shot. The supporters of Sidmouth AFC booed when CLUB AFRICAIN FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 14 match minutes in a wonderful position. Hassib Beya didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ali Zaghouani made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mongi Chikhaoui in the 16th minute of play. In the 25th minute, Mohamed Jaballah hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ali Zaghouani took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rachid Dhafer, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Mongi Chikhaoui's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Ali Zaghouani read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 34th minute of play. In the 49th minute, Mongi Chikhaoui ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Ali Zaghouani was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-2. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Rachid Dhafer was the one to do the kick off. The audience thought a goal was coming when Mohamed Jaballah got free with Ali Zaghouani in the 56th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 58 minutes into the game, Mongi Chikhaoui cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-3. Ali Zaghouani was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 60th match minute, Sidmouth AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mohamed Jaballah to maneuver through the defense. CLUB AFRICAIN FC's Ali Zaghouani played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Zine BenAmor in the 63rd minute of play. If Mongi Chikhaoui had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 64th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Najeh Karoui showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Abdallah Ali Riza, who was totally free with the ball in the 69th minute. Mongi Chikhaoui fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 72nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ali Zaghouani having to interfere. Ali Zaghouani made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rachid Dhafer in the 78th minute of play. With a little luck, CLUB AFRICAIN FC's Ali Zaghouani got control of the ball when Mongi Chikhaoui tried to sneak it across the goal line. 85 minutes into the match, Sidmouth AFC's Rachid Dhafer sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Ali Zaghouani narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Najeh Karoui made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Abderrahman Ghannem in the 88th minute of play. In the 94th minute the ball was on its way in behind Sidmouth AFC's goalkeeper Najeh Karoui, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 95 minutes into the game, Abderrahman Ghannem cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-4. Najeh Karoui was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Abderrahman Ghannem during the 100th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 100 played minutes CLUB AFRICAIN FC got a freekick which was hit by Abderrahman Ghannem. Rachid Dhafer received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 101st minute. Ali Zaghouani tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Sidmouth AFC eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
