The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Tarak Essebsi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 18th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Kaies Mzali kicked well hit freekick during the 26th minute of the match. In the 29th minute, Rashid Sebki left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Highbury and Islington fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. Abdallah Zidane showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tarak Essebsi, who was totally free with the ball in the 32nd minute. In the 33rd minute, Kaies Mzali hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 34 minutes into the match, Thornbury FC's goal looked a bit too open when Rashid Sebki came free, but Abdallah Zidane reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 36 minutes of play, Thornbury FC's Hassen Clayton made it 1-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Kais El Bez was left in no man's land by his defense there! Mohamed Stambouli recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 40th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 42nd minute, Highbury and Islington's Abdelwahab Dermech seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Abdelwahab Dermech the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Highbury and Islington protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Abdelwahab Dermech had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch.

The wind increased when Rashid Sebki made the kick off in the second half. When Hassen Clayton fell near the penalty area in the 53rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Thornbury FC's protests and gave Hassen Clayton a yellow card for diving instead. Rashid Sebki struck a weak shot in the 54th minute. Abdallah Zidane didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Highbury and Islington. After a rather tough play, Thornbury FC's Hedi Radhouani got a free kick in the 55th minute. Rashid Sebki received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 59th minute. In the 63rd minute, Kaies Mzali hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Rashid Sebki in the 67thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Abdallah Zidane, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. 72 minutes into the match, Highbury and Islington's goal looked a bit too open when Hassen Clayton came free, but Kais El Bez reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, Highbury and Islington's Mohamed Ghannouchi got a free kick in the 74th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 75th minute, Hedi Radhouani managed to get in a good position for a shot. Thornbury FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Hedi Radhouani was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Kais El Bez breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 80 minutes into the match, Highbury and Islington's goal looked a bit too open when Hassen Clayton came free, but Kais El Bez reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Hassen Clayton sent away a hard shot on goal in the 93rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mohamed Stambouli in the 95th minute of play forced Highbury and Islington's goalkeeper Kais El Bez to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
