An unexpectedly hard shot by Radhi Ghodhbane in the 26th minute of play forced Tettenhall's goalkeeper Mohamed Khalifa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Anouar Brahem recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 32nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Horncastle's zone, Anouar Brahem stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Mohamed Ali Souayati came out of the goal and Anouar Brahem tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Mohamad Sellami sent away a hard shot on goal in the 46th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Anouar Saada to make the kick off. Radhi Ghodhbane could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 51st minute of the match, but Mohamed Khalifa made a huge save. In the 61st minute Anouar Brahem shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mohamed Ali Souayati saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Mohamed Khalifa was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. When Mohamad Sellami came up free with the goalie in the 86th minute, the Tettenhall fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Mohamad Sellami couldn't finish the play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Anouar Brahem in the 88th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Mohamed Ali Souayati prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Horncastle's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
