Spectators: 6757 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1757, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Abdelhamid Khalifa took the kick off in the first half of the match. Fadhel Ben Zid sent away a hard shot on goal in the 2nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Francileudo Jemaiel fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 6th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ali Karoui having to interfere. Ali Karoui took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Fadhel Ben Zid, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fadhel Ben Zid in the 11th minute of play forced Godalming's goalkeeper Ali Karoui to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Charlbury's Francileudo Jemaiel in the 12th minute got a chance for a shot 12th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Godalming's goalie prevented a goal. After 18 minutes, Bahi Aleya mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Charlbury and the Godalming players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 18 played minutes Charlbury got a freekick which was hit by Bahi Aleya. Jalel Mokthar made a fantastic save in the 19th minute, when Mohamed Merdassi sent off a good shot on target. When Francileudo Jemaiel came up free with the goalie in the 21st minute, the Charlbury fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Francileudo Jemaiel couldn't finish the play. After 25 played minutes Charlbury got a freekick which was hit by Fadhel Ben Zid. The crowd rose to their feet as Abdelhamid Khalifa kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Jalel Mokthar. That made the score 1-1 in the 28 minute of play. In the 30th minute Abdelhamid Khalifa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jalel Mokthar saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jalel Mokthar showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Abdelhamid Khalifa, who was totally free with the ball in the 39th minute. In the 47th minute, Fadhel Ben Zid left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Charlbury fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-2. After the first half Charlbury were leading 1-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Fadhel Ben Zid stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Mohamed Merdassi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 55th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jalel Mokthar having to interfere. Fadhel Ben Zid recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 67th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Jalel Mokthar stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Abdelhamid Khalifa's shot from short distance in the 70th minute. Jalel Mokthar made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Abdelhamid Khalifa in the 82nd minute of play. 1-3 became the score in the 87th minute when Fadhel Ben Zid elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. After having played for 95 minutes, Fadhel Ben Zid managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Charlbury's supporters crossed their fingers, but Fadhel Ben Zid was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 97 minutes into the match, Charlbury's goal looked a bit too open when Abdelhamid Khalifa came free, but Jalel Mokthar reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The Godalming fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Charlbury were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
