In the 9th minute, Hédi Sfar sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Orpington United's Chedi Ben Dhia didn't even have to move. After having played for 11 minutes, Ali Bourguiba managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Bridport's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ali Bourguiba was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 14th minute Bridport were awarded a corner. Hédi Sfar went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner led Bridport's Hédi Sfar to fire away a dangerous shot which Chedi Ben Dhia despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Ali Bourguiba sent away a hard shot on goal in the 16th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Ali Bourguiba in the 19th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Chedi Ben Dhia prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 24 minutes into the match, Ali Bourguiba notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Orpington United's Chedi Ben Dhia. Chedi Ben Dhia was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Karim Kalaï received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 27th minute. Hassene Braiek tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Karim Kalaï sent away a hard shot on goal in the 29th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Chedi Ben Dhia showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ali Bourguiba, who was totally free with the ball in the 35th minute. If Salah Nouira had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 37th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. When Bridport's Ali Bourguiba in the 43rd minute got a chance for a shot 43rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Orpington United's goalie prevented a goal. 46 minutes into the match, Orpington United's goal looked a bit too open when Salah Nouira came free, but Chedi Ben Dhia reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

Riadh Karoui blasted a shot towards the goal in the 55th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Hassene Braiek having to make a save. 57 minutes into the match, Riadh Karoui notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of Bridport's Hassene Braiek. Hassene Braiek was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Orpington United's Riadh Karoui got a good chance for a goal in the 65th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Salah Nouira in the 68th minute of play forced Orpington United's goalkeeper Chedi Ben Dhia to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 70 minutes into the match, Orpington United's Karim Kalaï sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Hassene Braiek narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 82nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Bridport's goalkeeper Hassene Braiek, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After some careless play in the Bridport defense, Karim Kalaï kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Hassene Braiek. The Bridport fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Hassene Braiek should have stopped the shot. For all the effort they put into the match, the Bridport players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Orpington United.
