Fraj Kasraoui made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mokhtar Kadri in the 4th minute of play. 6 minutes into the match, Chokri Chérif had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Hatem Kaâbi. Wellesbourne FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Chokri Chérif was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. With a little luck, Wellesbourne FC's Hatem Kaâbi got control of the ball when Chokri Chérif tried to sneak it across the goal line. Wellesbourne FC's Hatem Kaâbi proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 15th minute of the match, managed to save Wellesbourne FC from getting a goal against them. With a little luck, Wellesbourne FC's Hatem Kaâbi got control of the ball when Chokri Chérif tried to sneak it across the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by David Yahyaoui in the 29th minute of play forced Wellesbourne FC's goalkeeper Hatem Kaâbi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Chokri Chérif got free with Hatem Kaâbi in the 31st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Chokri Chérif received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 32nd minute. Hatem Kaâbi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Chokri Chérif recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 36th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 42 minutes into the game, one of Wellesbourne FC:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. When the match had been going on for 44 minutes, New Romney's Muhammad Haggui got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Hatem Kaâbi. After a defensive mix-up in New Romney's zone, Moncef Djait stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Fraj Kasraoui came out of the goal and Moncef Djait tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Adel Haggui to make the kick off. Moncef Djait received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 52nd minute. Fraj Kasraoui tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Chokri Chérif came up free with the goalie in the 56th minute, the New Romney fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Chokri Chérif couldn't finish the play. Chokri Chérif sent away a hard shot on goal in the 58th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Adel Haggui fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 63rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fraj Kasraoui having to interfere. 66 minutes into the game, Mondher Sellimi was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Wellesbourne FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave New Romney the free kick. Hatem Kaâbi showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from David Yahyaoui in the 72nd minute of the match. In the 73rd minute, Mokhtar Kadri hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 78 minutes into the game, Brahim Sanchou was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. New Romney's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Wellesbourne FC the free kick. The supporters of Wellesbourne FC booed when New Romney was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 78 match minutes in a wonderful position. Brahim Sanchou didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 79th minute Adel Haggui shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fraj Kasraoui saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 82 minutes into the match, Moncef Djait had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Fraj Kasraoui. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Wellesbourne FC were clearly unhappy with the draw, as they felt they had done enough to earn themselves a victory.
