The supporters of Freshwater City booed when Herne Bay was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 22 match minutes in a wonderful position. Nizar Mzali didn't get a good kick on the ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Patrick Salem during the 25th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 25th match minute, Freshwater City was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Patrick Salem to maneuver through the defense. Borhene Ziadi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 32nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Nejib Saidi received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Mohamed Benachour came out and tried to block the shot, but Nejib Saidi slotted it home off the left post making it 3-0 in the 41st minute. Af the end of the first half the score was 3-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Freshwater City's Raouf Kasraoui played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Abdallah Mnari in the 52nd minute of play. Nejib Saidi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 57th minute. Mohamed Benachour tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Nejib Saidi scored 4-0 in the 60th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Mohamed Benachour, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot.
