In the 10thth minute of the game Ali Yahyaoui who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Watford's Anouar Ghannouchi was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Sofiane Badra made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mohamed Chikhaoui in the 11th minute of play. Sofiane Badra was out of position in the 17 minute of play, and Zine Bouzayène capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Zine Bouzayène really showed his touch with that goal: 1-0. In the 21st minute, Mohamed Chikhaoui fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Sofiane Badra , passed just outside the right post. Sofiane Badra showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mohamed Chikhaoui in the 22nd minute of the match. In the 23rd minute, Zine Bouzayène ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Sofiane Badra was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-0. If Salah Ben Saada had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 30th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Mohamed Chikhaoui came up free with the goalie in the 32nd minute, the Watford fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Mohamed Chikhaoui couldn't finish the play. The audience was convinced that Salah Ben Saada's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Anouar Ghannouchi was relentless in the 37th minute of the game. 47 minutes into the match, Dorchester's goalkeeper Sofiane Badra had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Zine Bouzayène. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Mohamed Chikhaoui made a kick off. Sofiane Badra showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mohamed Chikhaoui in the 52nd minute of the match. 58 minutes in the game, Ali Yahyaoui fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Anouar Ghannouchi having to interfere. After having played for 62 minutes, Mohamed Chikhaoui managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Watford's supporters crossed their fingers, but Mohamed Chikhaoui was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 70th minute Zine Bouzayène shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sofiane Badra saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, Dorchester's Mohamed Kasraoui got a free kick in the 72nd minute. Mahmoud Zitouni was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 73rd played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. Watford's Anouar Ghannouchi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Salah Ben Saada in the 75th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mohamed Chikhaoui in the 79th minute of play forced Dorchester's goalkeeper Sofiane Badra to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ali Yahyaoui received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 93rd minute. Anouar Ghannouchi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ahmed Boukorâa charged in rather forcefully in the 95th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Ahmed Boukorâa the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In a very dangerous position, a player in Watford fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 94th minute. Penalty! The referee gave Dorchester a penalty, 97 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Mokhtar Aleya, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Watford's Anouar Ghannouchi. 3-1. Dorchester's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
