Habib Souayati showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Heithem Jaidi in the 13th minute of the match. Zine Habib Benfrej struck a weak shot in the 15th minute. Zouheir Jouili didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Newthorpe. Albert Omrani fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 17th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Zouheir Jouili having to interfere. If Zine Habib Benfrej had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 22nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Zine Habib Benfrej's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Zouheir Jouili read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 24th minute of play. Zine Habib Benfrej received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 43rd minute. Zouheir Jouili tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 47 minutes into the game, Heithem Jaidi cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Habib Souayati was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Heithem Jaidi made a kick off. Zouheir Jouili didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Zine Habib Benfrej went, in the 56th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. 62 minutes into the game, Zine Habib Benfrej cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-1. Zouheir Jouili was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 65th match minute, Blackpool AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jamel Hleli to maneuver through the defense. After some fancy dribbling in the 66th minute, Zine Habib Benfrej managed to get in a good position for a shot. Newthorpe's supporters rose to their feet, but Zine Habib Benfrej was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Newthorpe's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-2. 79 minutes into the match, Blackpool AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Zine Habib Benfrej came free, but Zouheir Jouili reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The Blackpool AFC fans' excitement grew in the 81st match minute when Blackpool AFC's Mongi Ghannem looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 2-3 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Blackpool AFC had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
