Aymen Dhouib took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sofiene Clayton, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a rather tough play, Woodley's Ben Chiba got a free kick in the 14th minute. When Sofiene Clayton came up free with the goalie in the 15th minute, the Openshaw United fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Sofiene Clayton couldn't finish the play. If Mohamed Abdi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 18th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 30 played minutes, Woodley's Laamari Trabelsi shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Habib Zouiten came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Woodley reached it. If Sofiene Clayton had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 34th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Mohamed Abdi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 36th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Aymen Dhouib having to interfere. Sofiene Clayton sent away a hard shot on goal in the 38th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Habib Zouiten showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Khaled Idir, who was totally free with the ball in the 58th minute. After having played for 60 minutes, Khaled Idir managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Woodley's supporters crossed their fingers, but Khaled Idir was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 63 minutes, Khaled Idir made it 1-0 with a short kick to the right side. Openshaw United's Habib Zouiten tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. After a rather tough play, Openshaw United's Hamed Kalaï got a free kick in the 66th minute. Through an outstanding action, after 71 minutes, Aymen Dhouib successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. The supporters of Woodley booed when Openshaw United was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 79 match minutes in a wonderful position. Chaker Soussia didn't get a good kick on the ball.
