Mohamed Mechergui sent away a hard shot on goal in the 4th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 7th minute Ali Marzouki shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Habib Zouiten saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ali Marzouki struck a weak shot in the 14th minute. Habib Zouiten didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Paull. Sofiene Clayton could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 17th minute of the match, but Néji Jelassi made a huge save. Mohamed Abdi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 18th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Mohamed Abdi came up free with the goalie in the 21st minute, the Openshaw United fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Mohamed Abdi couldn't finish the play. If Ali Marzouki had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 25th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Mohamed Mechergui received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 26th minute. Habib Zouiten tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Mohamed Abdi came up free with the goalie in the 29th minute, the Openshaw United fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Mohamed Abdi couldn't finish the play. Mohamed Mechergui fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 37th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Habib Zouiten having to interfere. Mohamed Mechergui sent away a hard shot on goal in the 39th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Néji Jelassi came out of the goal in the 41st minute to try and stop a shot by Openshaw United's Mohamed Abdi. But to his dismay, Mohamed Abdi quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

Néji Jelassi showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mohamed Abdi in the 57th minute of the match. Haythem Naybet hit a great freekick 58 minutes into the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 60th minute, Sofiene Clayton managed to get in a good position for a shot. Openshaw United's supporters rose to their feet, but Sofiene Clayton was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Néji Jelassi breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Sofiene Clayton sent away a hard shot on goal in the 62nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Sofiene Clayton had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 64th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Mohamed Soliman hit a great freekick 69 minutes into the match. When Openshaw United's Mohamed Abdi in the 71st minute got a chance for a shot 71st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Paull's goalie prevented a goal. After a rather tough play, Paull's Haythem Naybet got a free kick in the 72nd minute. Sofiene Clayton's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Néji Jelassi read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 74th minute of play. Mohamed Abdi might have been able to make a better finish in the 75th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Néji Jelassi. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Mohamed Abdi ran back to his position shaking his head. Haythem Naybet hit a great freekick 76 minutes into the match. 77 minutes into the match, Openshaw United's Chaker Soussia broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. 79 minutes into the game, Openshaw United's Mohamed Abdi nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Néji Jelassi made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-0. After a defensive mix-up in Paull's zone, Mohamed Abdi stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Néji Jelassi came out of the goal and Mohamed Abdi tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Habib Zouiten showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Hamza Belkahia, who was totally free with the ball in the 91st minute. After 98 played minutes Paull got a freekick which was hit by Oussama Kasraoui. When the referee ended the match the Openshaw United players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
