Taoufik Aouichaoui fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 14th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ben Dali having to interfere. When Hamed Tlili came up free with the goalie in the 16th minute, the Astley fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Hamed Tlili couldn't finish the play. 17 minutes into the match, Riadh Koissy had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Karim Boumnijel. Astley's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Riadh Koissy was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Ali Gtari during the 26th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Bromyard United's Ali Gtari got a free kick in the 27th minute. In the 35th match minute, Astley was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Abdallah Amor to maneuver through the defense. Bromyard United's Riadh Koissy got a good chance for a goal in the 40th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 42 minutes into the game, Abdelaziz Kalaï was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Astley's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Bromyard United the free kick. Abdelaziz Kalaï kicked well hit freekick during the 42nd minute of the match. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

Hamed Tlili sent away a hard shot on goal in the 53rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Riadh Koissy in the 56th minute of play forced Astley's goalkeeper Karim Boumnijel to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to Astley getting a freekick after 58 minutes play. Abdelaziz Kalaï hit a great ball. Mohieddine Ben Mbarek, 59 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Riadh Koissy sent away a hard shot on goal in the 60th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Thanks to some nice moves Hamed Tlili could shoot a difficult shot in the 71st minute, which Ben Dali however easily saved by the left post. The supporters of Bromyard United booed when Astley was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 74 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mohamed Neifar didn't get a good kick on the ball. Riadh Koissy received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 76th minute. Karim Boumnijel tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 82 minutes, Habib Jaziri mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Bromyard United and the Astley players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 82nd match minute, Bromyard United was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Habib Jaziri to maneuver through the defense. Ben Dali took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Taoufik Aouichaoui, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The crowd rose to their feet as Taoufik Aouichaoui kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Ben Dali. That made the score 1-1 in the 87 minute of play. An unexpected shot in the 93rd minute by Hamed Tlili got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Ben Dali made an important save on a dangerous shot by Hamed Tlili in the 96th minute. The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
