If Belgacem Hadji had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 3rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, Orpington's Zouheir Kerrit got a free kick in the 6th minute. Aymen BenAmor stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Walid Chedli's shot from short distance in the 10th minute. In the 10th minute, Abdallah Fitouri hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Mohamed Marzouki blasted a shot towards the goal in the 12th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Hadj Salem Diwa having to make a save. In the 19th minute of the match Ahmed Badra sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Aymen BenAmor skillfully saved the ball. In the 22nd minute, Orpington's Jawhar Haj Kacem seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Jawhar Haj Kacem the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Orpington protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Jawhar Haj Kacem had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. In the 21st minute, one of Orpington:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Orpington. The referee gave Newcastle-under-Lyme City a penalty, 23 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Ahmed Badra , who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Orpington's Aymen BenAmor. 0-1. After some careless play in the Orpington defense, Bernard Chiba kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Aymen BenAmor. The Orpington fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Aymen BenAmor should have stopped the shot. 43 minutes into the match, Walid Chedli notched a goal, 0-3, to the right of Orpington's Aymen BenAmor. Aymen BenAmor was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Walid Chedli fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 48th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Aymen BenAmor having to interfere. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-3 lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Mohamed Marzouki stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Mohamed Marzouki received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 54th minute. Hadj Salem Diwa tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Majdi Mestiri fell near the penalty area in the 55th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Newcastle-under-Lyme City's protests and gave Majdi Mestiri a yellow card for diving instead. Majdi Mestiri hit a great freekick 56 minutes into the match. In the 69th minute, Bernard Chiba got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. An unexpected shot in the 72nd minute by Bernard Chiba got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Bernard Chiba struck a weak shot in the 81st minute. Aymen BenAmor didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Newcastle-under-Lyme City. Hadj Salem Diwa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mohamed Marzouki, who was totally free with the ball in the 83rd minute. Mohamed Marzouki fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 85th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hadj Salem Diwa having to interfere. A collision led to Newcastle-under-Lyme City getting a freekick after 86 minutes play. Hamda Ben Amor hit a great ball. In the 92nd minute, Bernard Chiba ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Aymen BenAmor was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-4. Radhi Hermassi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 96th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hadj Salem Diwa having to interfere.
