The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. An unexpectedly hard shot by Abdallah Kasraoui in the 3rd minute of play forced Kingstanding AFC's goalkeeper Mehdi Boularès to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, Watton-at-Stone AFC's Anouar Ouakili got a free kick in the 45th minute. Hichem Mkacher succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 2-0 in the 47th playminute. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Radhi Abdallah stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Mehdi Boularès made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hichem Mkacher in the 54th minute of play. After 56 played minutes Watton-at-Stone AFC got a freekick which was hit by Dhaker Azzaro. 61 minutes into the match, Kingstanding AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Hichem Mkacher came free, but Mehdi Boularès reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Anouar Ouakili 's late challenge caught a Kingstanding AFC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Anouar Ouakili was shown his second yellow card after 65 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. In the 74th match minute, Watton-at-Stone AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dhaker Azzaro to maneuver through the defense. Radhi Abdallah charged in rather forcefully in the 75th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Radhi Abdallah the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Kingstanding AFC's Radhi Abdallah got a free kick in the 75th minute. Mohieddine Ben Aïssa recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 89th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 95 minutes into the match, Watton-at-Stone AFC's Hichem Mkacher sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Mehdi Boularès narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Mehdi Boularès showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Hichem Mkacher in the 96th minute of the match. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Watton-at-Stone AFC fans cheered their team off the field, for while Kingstanding AFC had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
