Seating: 1719, VIP seats: 0) Mohieddine Mkademi started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. The audience was convinced that Hedi Namouchi's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Sahbi Ben Gharbi was relentless in the 3rd minute of the game. Hadj Salem Hleli showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mohieddine Mkademi, who was totally free with the ball in the 20th minute. In the 26th minute, Adel Trabelsi got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Adel Trabelsi couldn't finish the play. After having played for 31 minutes, Mohieddine Mkademi managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Teign's supporters crossed their fingers, but Mohieddine Mkademi was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Hedi Namouchi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 37th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sahbi Ben Gharbi having to interfere. In the 43rd minute, Hamdi Braham left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Cowes fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. After the first half Cowes were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

After a defensive mix-up in Cowes's zone, Helmi Souayati stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Hadj Salem Hleli came out of the goal and Helmi Souayati tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Mohieddine Mkademi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 62nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to Teign getting a freekick after 72 minutes play. Jean Souayati hit a great ball. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Cowes eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
