Spectators: 6731 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1731, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Hassene Bouazizi took the kick off in the first half of the match. After 3 minutes of play, Barnham FC's Hocine Saidi made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Hadj Salem Hleli was left in no man's land by his defense there! After 10 played minutes Cowes got a freekick which was hit by Anis Dermech. Hadj Salem Hleli took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rashid Neifar, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 12 played minutes Cowes got a freekick which was hit by Hedi Namouchi. Hassene Bouazizi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 14th minute. Hadj Salem Hleli tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Hadj Salem Hleli took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Hassene Bouazizi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ahmed Clayton made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hamdi Braham in the 18th minute of play. Ahmed Clayton came out of the goal in the 19th minute to try and stop a shot by Cowes's Hedi Namouchi. But to his dismay, Hedi Namouchi quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. Hedi Namouchi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 27th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ahmed Clayton having to interfere. Cowes's Hadj Salem Hleli proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 29th minute of the match, managed to save Cowes from getting a goal against them. When Jamel Benslimane fell near the penalty area in the 33rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Cowes's protests and gave Jamel Benslimane a yellow card for diving instead. In the 34th minute of the match Rashid Neifar sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Hadj Salem Hleli skillfully saved the ball. After a rather tough play, Barnham FC's Majed Laabidi got a free kick in the 34th minute. In the 36thth minute of the game Hamdi Braham who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Barnham FC's Ahmed Clayton was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. When Cowes's Hedi Namouchi in the 40th minute got a chance for a shot 40th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Barnham FC's goalie prevented a goal. After a rather tough play, Cowes's Hamdi Braham got a free kick in the 41st minute. Majed Laabidi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 48th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hadj Salem Hleli having to interfere. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Hamdi Braham to make the kick off. In the 54th minute, Hocine Saidi got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Hadj Salem Hleli took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Hocine Saidi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 78th match minute, Cowes was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jamel Benslimane to maneuver through the defense. 81 minutes into the game, Hassene Bouazizi cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 4-1. Hadj Salem Hleli was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Karim Ayari's late challenge caught a Cowes's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. After 86 minutes, Majed Laabidi mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Barnham FC and the Cowes players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Cowes booed when Barnham FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 86 match minutes in a wonderful position. Majed Laabidi didn't get a good kick on the ball. Lassaad Dhiab's late challenge caught a Cowes's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Lassaad Dhiab helped the player get up and apologised. Lassaad Dhiab kicked well hit freekick during the 92nd minute of the match. During the 98th minute of the match Jamel Benslimane completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Jamel Benslimane a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. In the 99th minute, Jamel Benslimane hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field.
