A collision led to Holford United getting a freekick after 31 minutes play. Mourad Ghodbane hit a great ball. The audience was convinced that Med Ali Sioud's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Hamdi Slimane was relentless in the 35th minute of the game. When Ahmed Mosrati came up free with the goalie in the 80th minute, the Tunisia fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ahmed Mosrati couldn't finish the play. If Ziad Taher had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 84th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, Holford United's Abdelhamid Bourguiba got a free kick in the 89th minute. Mohamed Lamouchi took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Albert Karoui, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 94 minutes into the match, Tunisia's Med Ali Sioud sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Hamdi Slimane narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Neither set of supporters seemed pleased with the draw, but both teams had played equally well today.
