An unexpectedly hard shot by Salah Trabelsi in the 39th minute of play forced Wotton-under-Edge's goalkeeper Sofiane Nefzi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Sofiane Nefzi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ali Negrouz in the 44th minute of play. In the 46thth minute of the game Salah Trabelsi who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Wotton-under-Edge's Sofiane Nefzi was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Disappointed in the 0-4 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Mohamed Salah Ben Yahia to strike the kick off in the second half. Whitefield AFC's Ali Negrouz got a good chance for a goal in the 52nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After some fancy dribbling in the 54th minute, Adel Ishola managed to get in a good position for a shot. Wotton-under-Edge's supporters rose to their feet, but Adel Ishola was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Abdallah Sguir breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After a defensive mix-up in Wotton-under-Edge's zone, Ali Negrouz stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Sofiane Nefzi came out of the goal and Ali Negrouz tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 57 minutes into the match, Wotton-under-Edge's goal looked a bit too open when Salah Trabelsi came free, but Sofiane Nefzi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Wotton-under-Edge's defense didn't have a chance, in the 59th minute, when Chedi Limam scored to the left of an out of position Sofiane Nefzi, making the score, 0-5. In the 64th minute Salah Trabelsi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sofiane Nefzi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ali Negrouz's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 65thth minute, Sofiane Nefzi skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Salah Trabelsi received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Sofiane Nefzi came out and tried to block the shot, but Salah Trabelsi slotted it home off the left post making it 0-6 in the 69th minute. Ali Negrouz scored 0-7 in the 72nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Sofiane Nefzi, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Salah Trabelsi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 80th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ali Negrouz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 91st minute. Sofiane Nefzi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ali Negrouz blasted a shot towards the goal in the 94th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Sofiane Nefzi having to make a save. Adel Ishola sent away a hard shot on goal in the 96th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Whitefield AFC's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
