Karim Bourguiba came out and tried to block the shot, but Pedro Arantes slotted it home off the left post making it 1-0 in the 3rd minute. Sílvio Veiga fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 7th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Karim Bourguiba having to interfere. 8 minutes into the match, Pedro Arantes had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Karim Bourguiba. Durham's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Pedro Arantes was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-0. 13 minutes into the game, Pedro Arantes recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Karim Bourguiba. Pedro Arantes showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 3-0. A hard shot 16 in the game by Sílvio Veiga from a close distance when the talented Karim Bourguiba managed to make a qualified save. Durham's players were relieved. Pedro Arantes took the ball and in the 17 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Karim Bourguiba. Karim Bourguiba dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-0. After a defensive mix-up in Durham's zone, Luis Javier Frost stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Karim Bourguiba came out of the goal and Luis Javier Frost tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 23rd minute, Sílvio Veiga reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Karim Bourguiba. The goal made the score 5-0. When Symba's Sílvio Veiga in the 28th minute got a chance for a shot 28th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Durham's goalie prevented a goal. Sílvio Veiga scored 6-0 in the 30th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Karim Bourguiba, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 34thth minute of the game Sílvio Veiga who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Durham's Karim Bourguiba was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. When the match had gone on for 38 minutes, Sílvio Veiga put it in 7-0 from a short distance just to the right of Karim Bourguiba. Tomás San Juan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 41st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Sílvio Veigas short, quick shot in the 43rdth minute got Karim Bourguiba to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Luis Javier Frost fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 44th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Karim Bourguiba having to interfere. Sílvio Veiga who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 46thth minute tested the skills of Karim Bourguiba when he managed to save the team from getting behind. The crowd rose to their feet as Sílvio Veiga kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Karim Bourguiba. That made the score 8-0 in the 47 minute of play. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 8-0.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Sílvio Veiga made a kick off. Sílvio Veiga took the ball and in the 53 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Karim Bourguiba. Karim Bourguiba dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 9-0. Sílvio Veiga recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 56th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Tacettin Umay scored 10-0 in the 56th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Karim Bourguiba, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. When Sílvio Veiga came up free with the goalie in the 60th minute, the Symba fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Sílvio Veiga couldn't finish the play. Tacettin Umay blasted a shot towards the goal in the 62nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Karim Bourguiba having to make a save. In the 62nd minute, Sílvio Veiga left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Symba fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 11-0. When the match clock showed 69 minutes, the score became 12-0 when Khaled Chérif sped through Durham's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Karim Bourguiba. Khaled Chérif received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 72nd minute. Karim Bourguiba tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Karim Bourguiba didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Tacettin Umay went, in the 74th minute, to the upper right corner, 13-0 was the resulting score. In the 79th minute, Khaled Chérif left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Symba fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 14-0. When the match clock showed 87 minutes, the score became 16-0 when Khaled Chérif sped through Durham's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Karim Bourguiba. A collision led to Durham getting a freekick after 91 minutes play. Jean Gharbi hit a great ball. In the 94thth minute of the game Tomás San Juan who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Durham's Karim Bourguiba was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Karim Bourguiba made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Khaled Chérif in the 95th minute of play.
