The supporters of Symba booed when Foda was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 9 match minutes in a wonderful position. Amir Sellimi didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Tomás San Juan came up free with the goalie in the 27th minute, the Symba fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Tomás San Juan couldn't finish the play. Oussama Omrani took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Orlando Queirós, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Foda's Oussama Omrani played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sílvio Veiga in the 32nd minute of play. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 5-0.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Khaled Chérif made a kick off. In the 54th minute, Khaled Chérif left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Symba fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 6-0. Tacettin Umay took the ball and in the 60 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Oussama Omrani. Oussama Omrani dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 7-0. 63 minutes into the match, Faouzi Bnouni notched a goal, 8-0, to the right of Foda's Oussama Omrani. Oussama Omrani was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Symba's Hatem Ben Amor was substituted for Garry Mann. 72 minutes into the match, Khaled Chérif had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Oussama Omrani. Foda's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Khaled Chérif was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 10-0. In the 74th minute Faouzi Bnouni shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Oussama Omrani saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Tomás San Juan in the 76th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Oussama Omrani prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Oussama Omrani took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Faouzi Bnouni, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.
