Spectators: 7000 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 2000, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Ali Chaldun got the match started through his kick off. Muhammad Azzaro received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 3rd minute. Alaeddine Ghariani tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Rochdale United's Alaeddine Ghariani played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mokhtar Dhiab in the 5th minute of play. 6 minutes into the match, Rochdale United's goal looked a bit too open when Muhammad Azzaro came free, but Alaeddine Ghariani reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Hay Riadh United's Lotfi Ghodhbane proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 9th minute of the match, managed to save Hay Riadh United from getting a goal against them. Ahmed Zouiten could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 12th minute of the match, but Lotfi Ghodhbane made a huge save. 14 minutes into the match, Hay Riadh United's goal looked a bit too open when Ali Chaldun came free, but Lotfi Ghodhbane reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Lotfi Ghodhbane showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ali Chaldun, who was totally free with the ball in the 19th minute. Ahmed Zouiten who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 23rdth minute tested the skills of Lotfi Ghodhbane when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Lotfi Ghodhbane took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ali Chaldun, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Thanks to some nice moves Ahmed Zouiten could shoot a difficult shot in the 25th minute, which Lotfi Ghodhbane however easily saved by the left post. After some careless play in the Hay Riadh United defense, Hassan Rostom kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Lotfi Ghodhbane. The Hay Riadh United fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Lotfi Ghodhbane should have stopped the shot. Ahmed Zouiten could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 30th minute of the match, but Lotfi Ghodhbane made a huge save. Lotfi Ghodhbane made a fantastic save in the 31st minute, when Ahmed Zouiten sent off a good shot on target. Through an outstanding action, after 33 minutes, Lotfi Ghodhbane successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. A collision led to Hay Riadh United getting a freekick after 33 minutes play. Mokhtar Dhiab hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ali Chaldun in the 35th minute of play forced Hay Riadh United's goalkeeper Lotfi Ghodhbane to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Muhammad Azzaro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 38th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Through an outstanding action, after 44 minutes, Lotfi Ghodhbane successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ali Chaldun in the 45th minute of play forced Hay Riadh United's goalkeeper Lotfi Ghodhbane to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

In the 53rd minute Ali Chaldun shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lotfi Ghodhbane saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 55 minutes into the game, Mokhtar Dhiab was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Hay Riadh United's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Rochdale United the free kick. In the 54th minute, one of Hay Riadh United:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Hay Riadh United. In the 57th minute there was a penalty for Rochdale United. Dali Chaldun stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Lotfi Ghodhbane. 3-0. In the 60th match minute, Rochdale United was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tarek Ouakili to maneuver through the defense. Lotfi Ghodhbane came out of the goal in the 65th minute to try and stop a shot by Rochdale United's Ahmed Zouiten. But to his dismay, Ahmed Zouiten quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-0. Kaies Diwa hit a great freekick 70 minutes into the match. When Muhammad Azzaro came up free with the goalie in the 71st minute, the Hay Riadh United fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Muhammad Azzaro couldn't finish the play. In the 74thth minute of the game Ahmed Zouiten who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Hay Riadh United's Lotfi Ghodhbane was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Hassan Rostom took the ball and in the 76 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Lotfi Ghodhbane. Lotfi Ghodhbane dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 5-0. Tarek Ouakili took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 88th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Lotfi Ghodhbane. Hay Riadh United's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. During the 88th minute of the match Mokhtar Dhiab completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Mokhtar Dhiab a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. The supporters of Rochdale United booed when Hay Riadh United was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 89 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mokhtar Dhiab didn't get a good kick on the ball. 98 minutes into the match, Rochdale United's goal looked a bit too open when Issam Sayah came free, but Alaeddine Ghariani reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Hay Riadh United's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
