An unexpectedly hard shot by Mehdi Chimane in the 8th minute of play forced Hay Riadh United's goalkeeper Lotfi Ghodhbane to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 9 minutes into the match, CJ Craddock had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Lotfi Ghodhbane. Hay Riadh United's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that CJ Craddock was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. Lotfi Ghodhbane stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Mehdi Chimane's shot from short distance in the 12th minute. After 16 minutes of play, Foda's Habib Zahaf made it 1-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Lotfi Ghodhbane was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 19th minute, Emir Cherni hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 23 minutes into the game, Mehdi Chimane cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-4. Lotfi Ghodhbane was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Habib Zahaf took the ball and in the 26 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Lotfi Ghodhbane. Lotfi Ghodhbane dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-5. 29 minutes into the game, Foda's CJ Craddock nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Lotfi Ghodhbane made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-6. 34 minutes into the match, Hay Riadh United's goal looked a bit too open when CJ Craddock came free, but Lotfi Ghodhbane reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Lotfi Ghodhbane made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mehdi Chimane in the 35th minute of play. CJ Craddock sent away a hard shot on goal in the 36th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Lotfi Ghodhbane showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from CJ Craddock in the 42nd minute of the match. Lotfi Ghodhbane made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from CJ Craddock in the 44th minute of play. Habib Zahaf scored 1-8 in the 45th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Lotfi Ghodhbane, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Disappointed in the 1-8 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell CJ Craddock to make the kick off. Lotfi Ghodhbane took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from CJ Craddock, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 56 minutes into the match, Hay Riadh United's goalkeeper Lotfi Ghodhbane had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Mehdi Chimane. Mokhtar Dhiab scored 2-9 in the 63rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Oussama Omrani, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The crowd rose to their feet as Foda's Mehdi Chimane slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Lotfi Ghodhbane. That made the score 2-10 after 67 minutes of play. In the 70th minute, Mokhtar Dhiab hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. CJ Craddock received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 71st minute. Lotfi Ghodhbane tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Habib Zahaf received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 73rd minute. Foda's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Hay Riadh United the free kick. After 89 played minutes Foda got a freekick which was hit by Hedi Jaidi. A sloppy throw-in by Muhammad Azzaro in the 91st minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Foda's Anselmo Schiavoni. Thanks to some nice moves Mehdi Chimane could shoot a difficult shot in the 92nd minute, which Lotfi Ghodhbane however easily saved by the left post. After 93 played minutes Hay Riadh United got a freekick which was hit by Mokhtar Dhiab. The Hay Riadh United fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Foda were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
