Ahmed Ben Yahia fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 3rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Edgar Valenzuela having to interfere. One piece UTD's Edgar Valenzuela played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ahmed Ben Yahia in the 9th minute of play. Ahmed Ben Yahia recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 10th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Edgar Valenzuela took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ahmed Ben Yahia, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 14 minutes into the game, Ahmed Ben Yahia recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Edgar Valenzuela. Ahmed Ben Yahia showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. Anouar Mabrouki made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Igor Pahucki in the 23rd minute of play. Khaled Boumnijel hit a great freekick 25 minutes into the match. Emir Haj Ouertani struck a weak shot in the 27th minute. Edgar Valenzuela didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Kayazak carthage. The Kayazak carthage fans' excitement grew in the 30th match minute when Kayazak carthage's Emir Haj Ouertani looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 2-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Riadh Cherni received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 39th minute. Edgar Valenzuela tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 43rd minute Jean Souissi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Anouar Mabrouki saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Edgar Valenzuela made an important save on a dangerous shot by Khaled Boumnijel in the 45th minute. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 3-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Igor Pahucki to make the kick off. If Jean Souissi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 51st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Emir Haj Ouertani couldn't finish the play. Ahmed Ben Yahia struck a weak shot in the 68th minute. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ahmed Ben Yahia couldn't finish the play. 91 minutes into the match, One piece UTD's goal looked a bit too open when Ahmed Ben Yahia came free, but Edgar Valenzuela reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. One piece UTD's supporters were dissatisfied at the end of the match because Kayazak carthage had won, even though One piece UTD had held more of the ball.
